16/07/2009: 40% of the Plusfactor client base has now been upgraded from Plusfactor/32 to PlusfactorSQL. It is expected that the upgrade process will be completed by the end of 2009. PlusfactorSQL contains many new features amd reports to enhance the user experience, whilst maintaining the user interface from Plusfactor/32, thus making the upgrade a pain-free experience for all existing operators. The upgrade process has performed flawlessly, with the only issues encountered being Windows installations that had not been correctly configured - plus the odd bit of data that required fixing. New clients are of course being installed immediately with PlusfactorSQL. All development on Plusfactor/32 has ceased, as has bug-fixing. If a user should strike a bug in Plusfactor/32 they will be immediately upgraded to PlusfactorSQL and the bug will be fixed in the new program - assuming it has not already been located and dealt to. This new program provides much greater reliability, scalability, and speed than Plusfactor/32 and has been universally hailed by upgraded users as a substantial improvement on Plusfactor/32.
